Freshers week is looming large in Edinburgh and since me and Ian have got a couple of sets sprinkled over the course, so I thought I'd take the chance to explain where and when we were playing and drop the 2 promo mixes we've been working on.
- Monday 12th September - You Me Oui Launch Party @ Shanghai. Seasoned sessioners WeOwn are bringing a brand new Monday night to the capital, with me and Ian on the decks, check out Ian's promo mix, tracklist and write up here. - Tuesday 13th September - Africanism At The Caves We played at the first Africanism party last year (also known as 'Springboks') and it was safely one of the biggest partys of the year, the relaunch this year promises to be even bigger, with Seratonin and Slayer Slan also taking to the decks and to celebrate I've put together a mix of funky house and soulful acapellas, check it out and get hyped for the largest night of the week!

- Thursday 15th - Monstar Mash @ The Liquid Rooms The new Thursday night to hit the Liquid Rooms sees ourselves and Stu Todd take to the decks in one of Edinburgh's most prestigious venues, which also plays host to phenomenal nights such as Musika and Xplicit.
- Friday 16th - Zzzap Freshers party @ Wee Red Bar - Having seen Zzzap smash it last year with Boy-8-Bit they're producing a Friday night worth skipping Potterrow for, to wind up for the massive Tuesday 27th September event with Foals. Check us out playing alongside residents ClubSoda, Steve Hunter & Sandy Bells, closing our week in style.
After Freshers catch us on rotation at Candyboxx, as well as every Monday at You Me Oui and Thursdays at Monstar Mash, on top of a one off at Heavy Gossip & UltraGrooves coming together on 24th September at Hawke & Hunter with Tony Lionni & Rahaan, its gonna be a massive few weeks!

Having been away a lot this summer we've been Djing less regularly however with our return imminent and having played a few fantastic sets recently, Ian at Belladrum for WeOwn and me at the Festival Closing Parties with Jesse Rose & Tiga (read about it here) we've decided that it's time to get our August chart sorted, as usual its an eclectic mix of dancefloor based music, from the funky but deep house of Waifs & Strays through to the pumping disco of His Majesty Andre, it's all goooood!
